Our mission is to promote equity in health and opportunity for Latinos by advancing clinical care, research, education, and advocacy at Johns Hopkins and beyond in active partnership with our Latino neighbors. Centro’s staff dedicate their time and expertise to promote excellence for Latino Health and organize working groups, who meet periodically. HabiCorps: 10.5 month-long hands-on training program for individuals facing employment barriers. HabiCorps Trainees earn a living allowance while building affordable homes with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake.

TPPI helps teens prevent pregnancy, access all forms of birth control, and learn about safe sex. This is a group made up of more than 40 community partners working collaboratively to improve resources for Adolescent Reproductive Health.
TPPI aims to reduce teen births in Baltimore City by ensuring that adolescents and young adults have access to
1) Age-appropriate and evidence-based sexual health education and information;
2) Access to effective family planning, youth-friendly and up-to-date clinical services and;
3) Community support to make informed sexual health decisions.
