The Breathmobile is a custom-built pediatric asthma and allergy clinic that travels to almost two dozen schools, providing ongoing asthma and allergy care to children. Students with signs or symptoms of asthma are referred to the Breathmobile by a school nurse, parents or primary care providers. Once onboard they are given a comprehensive evaluation, testing and treatment. Sexual Abuse and Rape Assessment Center at University of Maryland Children’s Hospital

The Pediatric Emergency Department (PED) at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital specializes in the evaluation and management of children and young adolescents who are suspected of having been sexually abused or assaulted. The PED is the site for the evaluation of all children and adolescents younger than age 13 who are suspected of having been sexually abused or assaulted in Baltimore City within the previous five days.

Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Program at Mercy Medical Center

Mercy Medical Center is a designated treatment center for sexual assault and domestic violence in Baltimore City, with 30 specially trained Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNEs) available 24/7 to care for victims of sexual assault (aged 13 and older), victims of domestic violence, elder/institutional and vulnerable populations abuse, neglect, and maltreatment. The Forensic Nurse Examiner Program works collaboratively with criminal justice agencies and other Baltimore agencies addressing the needs of victims of violence.

STAR TRACK at University of Maryland Adolescent Health Center

Special Teens At Risk–Together Reaching Access, Care, and Knowledge (STAR TRACK) provides comprehensive, individualized, age and culturally appropriate, primary HIV, and psychosocial supportive care to HIV infected and at-risk youth ages 12-24 in Baltimore. The Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders Program

The Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders Program is a nationally recognized treatment center for anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and other eating disorders. Led by a psychiatrist, our interdisciplinary team includes nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, dieticians, and other specialists. Medical and nutritional interventions are integrated with physical and psychological therapies to develop a comprehensive individualized treatment plan for each patient. Our primary goals are to restore the functional capacity, to normalize the eating patterns, and to improve the quality of life of our patients.
