University of Maryland: Urban Agriculture Program at UMD Extension
The University of Maryland Extension’s Urban Agriculture Program provides research-based education and individualized support for people interested in gardening, farming, or food production in urban settings. The program helps urban farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs develop skills in planning, production, and business management. UMD Extension also offers related community education programs focused on youth development, nutrition, personal finance, and environmental stewardship.
