HealthCare Access Maryland connects residents to public health care coverage and helps them navigate services effectively. HCAM programs reflect our dedication to ensuring all Marylanders have equal access to health care and services. Each year, HCAM serve children, pregnant women, parents, childless adults, immigrants, homeless people, youth in foster care, people with substance use disorders, individuals recently released from jail, and many others. Programs and services include:

HCAM programs reflect our dedication to ensuring all Marylanders have equal access to health care and services. Each year, HCAM serve children, pregnant women, parents, childless adults, immigrants, homeless people, youth in foster care, people with substance use disorders, individuals recently released from jail, and many others. Programs and services include:

  • Access to health insurance.
  • Behavioral Health – Outreach and referrals to services and treatment that address substance use disorder, mental illness, and homelessness or housing instability.
  • Care Coordination – Outreach, short-term case management, and advocacy for Baltimore City residents with HealthChoice.
  • MATCH – Providing health care coordination, education, and advocacy to ensure that children in foster care have their medical, dental, and behavioral health needs met.
