Foster Care Parent Ombudsman
The Foster Parent Ombudsman serves as an advocate for foster parents and kinship providers, and may act as an intermediary between them and local departments of social services when issues need to be resolved. The Ombudsman may investigate complaints against foster parents. The Foster Parent Ombudsman reports to the Office of Secretary in Maryland’s Department of Human Services.
