Esperanza Center Youth Programs

Esperanza Center is an immigrant outreach facility providing educational, health, family reunification, and immigration legal services, plus referrals and assistance for other services.
Esperanza Center serves youth in several capacities. In the Educational Services program, we offer an after-school and summer intensive English language program supporting the public schools, teaching youth English for school and community.

Immigration Legal Services at Esperanza Center

Immigration Legal Services provides low-cost legal counseling and representation in immigration matters. We assist clients and their family members seeking to obtain, extend or retain lawful immigration status or citizenship in the United States and also provide them with English classes and medical attention.

The Immigration Outreach Service Center, Inc. Refugee Youth Project (RYP) at Baltimore City Community College

The Baltimore City Community College Refugee Youth Project seeks to improve the lives of Baltimore’s youngest refugees by supporting their academic needs and making their integration simple and meaningful. RYP is committed to its mission of creating a safe environment for refugee children to improve their literacy skills, enhance their knowledge of American culture, engage in enriching extracurricular activities, and grow to be confident, caring individuals.

Soccer Without Borders

Soccer Without Borders uses soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served newcomer youth a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. SWB provides year-round soccer programming as well as English language support, academic enrichment, and leadership opportunities for youth participants. Additionally, SWB offers a Family Mentor program as well, working closely with families as they adjust to their new lives in Baltimore.
