The Office of Youth and Trauma Services works to prevent and mitigate exposure to violence and trauma for youth ages 11-24 years. This is accomplished through implementation of evidence based public health and human service models, and collaboration with community, youth and families. Their focus includes school-based violence prevention and intervention, suicide prevention, trauma informed care and mental health first aid training, and victim services.

The Center provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to children, adolescents and families who have experienced or may be at risk for trauma through physical or sexual abuse, neglect, domestic violence and community violence (other traumas as well).
