Thread

Thread supports Baltimore City high school students who face significant barriers in and outside the classroom by providing each student with a “family” of committed volunteers and access to community resources. Students receive long-term mentorship, academic support, and personal development guidance through a 10-year commitment that extends from 9th grade through six years beyond graduation. The program helps students become resilient, self-motivated, and responsible citizens while fostering a deeply connected community.
