YMCA: Big Brothers Big Sisters at the Y
A national youth serving organization with the concept of a one-to-one relationship between an adult volunteer and an at-risk child, usually from a one-parent family. Big Brothers Big Sisters at the Y targets the children who need us most, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty, and coping with parental incarceration. This program offers a wide variety 1:1 mentoring program that matches adults with children, ages 7 through 16, in need of a positive role model.
