Being sexually healthy means you are able to enjoy: a healthy body, relationships, sex life and peace of mind.
Being sexually healthy is important whether you are having sex or not.
- Sexual and reproductive health and health care is a right for all persons, including all teens and young adults.
- It is a right no matter who you are attracted to and if you are having sex or not.
Part of taking care of your sexual and reproductive health is getting connected to a doctor or health care provider to help you and your partner.
A doctor can:
- answer your questions
- help you stay healthy
- create a plan to treat any problems
- share information about LGBT health
- help you learn how to take care of yourself
