Year Up’s mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education. They offer a yearlong Workforce Development Program for young adults 18 to 29 years of age:

  • Phase One: learning and development that includes specific training pathways such as IT, cyber security, data analytics, or project management.
  • Phase Two: opportunity youth intern with one of Year Up’s corporate partners (examples include Carefirst, Johns Hopkins, Bank of America, and Exelon)
