Velocipede Bike Project

Velocipede Bike Project is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides hands-on education in bicycle repair and maintenance, access to a community workspace, and affordable bikes and parts. Youth and adults can learn through BYOBike classes, including Tune-Up (basic repairs and maintenance) and Vintage Bike Overhaul (more advanced repair skills), while also receiving guidance during Open Shop sessions to work on their own bikes. Velocipede encourages practical skill-building, mechanical confidence, and cycling safety while promoting sustainability through bike reuse and repair.
