Living Classrooms Foundation: Environmental Education
Living Classrooms Foundation provides hands-on environmental education programs for Baltimore youth, focusing on urban gardening, conservation, and local ecosystems. Through the Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) program, young participants from underserved communities engage in after-school and summer gardening activities. At the Environmental Education Center in Masonville Cove, students explore and contribute to the conservation of natural habitats along the Patapsco River. These programs offer a fun and interactive way for youth to connect with nature while learning valuable environmental skills.
