Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC)
Apprentices gain an opportunity to work in well-paying jobs such as sheet metal worker, operating engineer, electrical, plumbing and steam fitter, carpentry, and other trades occupations. We partner with union and non-union apprenticeship programs to combine on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Work full-time as an apprentice and take a structured series of courses which includes content that supports the tasks you perform at work. Each apprenticeship offers a specialized program that will take from three to five years to complete and leads to a Journeymen certificate.
- Available at all locations, a ~130 hour apprenticeship training in construction, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry with job placement services and industry certifications.
