The Intercultural Counseling Connection offers free, trauma-informed mental health services to adult asylum seekers, refugees, and other forced migrants in the greater Baltimore area. They connect clients—many of whom are survivors of torture, war, or gender-based violence—with licensed mental health professionals trained in culturally responsive care. The Connection prioritizes support for those who are uninsured and ineligible for federal benefits, helping clients cope with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and the stress of the asylum process. Services are available in multiple languages and provided through a compassionate network of pro bono therapists.
